Cambodia to withdraw more than 480 troops from Thai border zone

PHNOM PENH, 13 July 2012 (Cambodia Herald) – Foreign Minister Hor Namhong announced Friday that Cambodia would withdraw more than 480 soldiers from a demilitarized zone around the Preah Vihear Temple next week.

He said the unilateral decision for the withdrawal next Wednesday expressed Cambodia’s will in accordance with an order by the International Court of Justice on July 18 last year.
