PHNOM PENH, 19 July 2012 (Cambodia Herald) Culture Minister Him Chhem says Cambodia
still opposes the idea of building an Angkor Wat replica in India.
"If the plan to build Angkor Wat remains, we still protest against the idea," he said Wednesday evening while inspecting repairs to the Independence Monument.
A Hindu group in India announced earlier this year plans to build the replica on a 20-hectare site.
