SRP Youth making a Difference in Local Government [Rozeth is the youngest local councillor in Cambodia?]

05 June 2012
By Mu Sochua

Rozeth has a very important role to play in the commune council as 2nd deputy. She will be in charge of security and social issues.

She will continue to deliver what she promises to the voters: no corruption. We are very proud and owe to her for giving all she has to build democracy from the grassroots.

A thousand miles journey begin with the first step.

Rozeth and many other younger ones are the buds of a braved new world that is being fought, but they can become the very important politicians for our country in the future.

Democracy is an unstoppable force.

It would be better for our society and our country, if some of the well educated young generation of oversea Khmer come back and help to rebuild the community and Khmer society. Because they have the felling as the children of the Khmer empire and love our country more than the people live in Cambodia.
The Cambodian government should have a committee to support this project by encouraging young oversea Khmer to take part in the nation building.
