I hate Hun Sen, but I love Hun Sen's rule

Re: GOVERNMENT IN CAMBODIA: A call for Ke Kimyan and Chea Sim take over power from Hun Sen

The author of the above article really doesn't understand the constitution. The constitution only said that the Prime Minister is from the parties that has majority of the seats in the National Assembly. It doesn't matter if he/she is the chairman or just a member of the winning party, as long as he is elected as a member of parliament. The CPP already said before the election that they will norminate Hun Sen as the Prime Minister, should they win the election. Forming the government is just a matter of getting the support of two-third majority. So the CPP can do whatever it can to attract other parties that have enough seats to help them get 2/3, then it is done.

I hate Hun Sen, just like other people here. He is a dictator, yes. He is ruthless, yes..He killed other people, yes. But if we want to win over him, the oppositions should look at themselves in the mirror. Several issues that the oppositions should take into considerations are the blame game. Don't just blame the Vietnamese and create this rubbish story like in the article above. Now, I see that the SRP started to blame the US-made maps of Cambodia.. So, I think the oppositions should stop pointing the fingers at other people. They should point to themselves.

Some of the opposition officials are no different from those from the ruling CPP. They need the money and power. For example, a few of the oppositions officials have defected to the CPP just to get a job because they think it is too long to get power, so why not do now.

Land grabbing issues are all over the places, but why don't you in the oppositions try to exploit it to reap the political benefits.

Hardline approach on the border issues is not relevant now. What Cambodia needs, and in the mind of most of Cambodians, is economic growth.

People in the rural areas are happy with the corrupt money that the CPP used to build roads and other infrastructures. They know it is corrupt, but they also know that if the opposition is elected, they are also corrupt.

The middle class in Phnom Penh and other cities will not vote for you if they think that you will create only chaos, not stability, if you win the election..

Think again my friends. I hope you will get more seats in 2013

I agree with most of your point of view here,Cpp play a game better and smarter than the democratic party, all these non-communist parties [ 9 parties] should work to gather in order to win an election in 2013.

These nine parties should put aside their different and work harder and smarter to gain people trust to vote for them,Cpp play the game smarter and harder to win the election by bribes, vote buying, intimidating, they (Cpp) do anything necessary to win at all cost...

Why can democratic party learn from Cpp? All other nine parties can't even work or talk to one another, how in the hell you expect to win? I didn't hate Hunsen personaly,i hated his policy that create "paq pook niyum" favoritism one group of his elite (cronies) neglect the poor and the weak (khmers ) not just neglect these poor khmers, but suppressed, robbed, killed and steal from them as well.

Its time for all the NINE parties to put aside their personal agenda and work together for all the free khmers in 2013 and beyond. You got to work harder to get people to vote for you,you have to preach your democracy let people know where you stand in all ISSUES regarding the situation in khmers society now.

The ISSUES of land grabbing, corruption, weflair of the poor, education for khmers, injustices that Cpp have done relate to land concession, forced eviction, killing khmers innocent and power abusing by Cpp authories. These are the issues that got khmers people to listen to you.

Pointing fingers at each others without action will not help you Mr democracy parties(9) you can't even get along with each other who in the right mind will vote for you? I hated Cpp,but i will never vote for you either, because i didn't know where you stand in all these issues that i mention above.

I just hope that all your democracy parties work together to solve all the issues that we all khmers as a nation faced today. You fight each other to gain power and expect people to vote for will never happen my friend.

Cpp sticks together like glue, they will win an election 2013, i hate to see that happen again...again ....again!!!!!.
