PHNOM PENH, 4 June 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - The ruling Cambodian People’s Party won
8,283 of the 11,459 commune council seats contested in Sunday's
elections, according to unofficial preliminary results.
A CPP
source said the Sam Rainsy Party won 2,155 seats on the councils while
the Human Rights Party, Funcinpec and the Norodom Ranariddh Party shared
the remaining seats.
The breakdown of the results is as follows (with the number of seats won in 2007 in parentheses):
Cambodian People’s Party: 8,283 (7,993)
Sam Rainsy Party: 2,155 (2,660)
Human Rights Party: 800 (0)
Funcinpec: 160 (274)
Norodom Ranariddh Party: 53 (425)
Hang Dara Democratic Movement: 0 (1)
Not yet clear: 8 (0)
Total seats: 11,459 (11,353)

The small state like Cambodia had 10 parties what all those parties wants? Cpp is communist party,the rest why don't they joint together as one to beat Communist party? Why there too many at the end they all lost!!!!
If these people don't work together to beat Cpp Yuon dogs,Drop Khmer ten years from now all nothing but,Yuon state call NAM Yang West or Namky west.
Why there khmers party leaders try selfcenter not thinking about future khmers nation as whole? You keep on break up unity Cpp win an election easy.Remember UNITED WE STAND BREAK UP WE FALL OR LOST!..

Though I hate to be persimistic, I concede that true nationalists are practically non-existent among the general population and in the opposition parties. The election result confirm my sentiment.
Some naive folks accuse the CPP or NEC of running an unfair election. The fact is the election climate was relatively calm and people were given choices; yet, the majority of them still chose CPP. Why? That is the most critical question that the oppositions need to study/investigate and come up with a strategy, hopefully a winning one.
Communist party is a lone wolf, other nine parties,are non-communist party.Why can't they joint togethers to beat this lone wolf party? We all don't like communism ,right? What stop all these nine parties from working as one party for the same purpose to win this election?
