Cambodian military spending among lowest in ASEAN

PHNOM PENH, 2 June 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - Cambodia military spending was $192 million in 2011, up from $177 million a year earlier but among the lowest defense budgets in ASEAN, the Guardian reported.

The British newspaper's website said Singapore had the highest military spending among ASEAN countries, amounting to $9.5 billion last year, up from  $8.3 billion in 2011.

Thailand ranked next with $5.5 billion and was followed by Indonesia with $4.7 billion, Malaysia with $4.6 billion, Vietnam with $2.7 billion, the Philippines with $2.4 billion and Brunei with $0.4 billion. Figures for Laos and Myanmar weren’t available.

All that money spending is for the top dogs in army some one like Gen.Kim kun spent 1millions dollars for his mistress,while my brother stay in front line at Preach Vihea get paid 50$ month without medical insurance.Very time he got sick i have to pay for his medical bill.General Kim Kun paid 1millions dollars just for his one night stand with actress.
