PHNOM PENH, 18th May 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has
invited Foreign Minister Hor Namhong to visit Washington on June 12 to
strengthen bilateral and regional relations, sources said.
In a letter dated Thursday, Clinton said the visit would be a good opportunity to strengthen the joint goals of the two countries during Cambodia's chairmanship of ASEAN.

Believe or not, Mr. Hor 5 Hong will hear full ears regarding shoot to kill civilians (less dramatic with Clinton) but she is unhappy about Cambodian conduct ASEAN meeting last month (big deal). These two topics are enough for him to have his face looks red...
I hope America will lecture Cambodia on human rights, but I think America won't say anything to upset Cambodia because it is trying to court Cambodia away from China.
Cambodia is playing with fire by playing America off against China, like what Sihanouk did in the 1950s and 60s.

Invitation and formal official visit are dissimilar in nature in term of diplomat ties between two nation. As a guest, Mr.Hong will not oblige to address of any Cambodia internal affairs or events that occurs in Cambodia today, thus as a courtesy to the host country he might have to if questions are emerged. The US is not very concern about human rights abuses by Hun Sen impunity regime, its interest is to sway the kingdom from China orbit to align with its geopolitics ambitions in SEA. Since when the US cares about Khmer people!!!
I hope the US will protect Cambodian sovereignty. China is Cambodian boss because China used to protect Cambodia against Vietnam and Thailand influences. Cambodians really want to Change the boss. Cambodian kings and other his family members are suffered enough. He was cheated by communists and the perfect regime of Mao'dreams.
Especially, many Cambodians hate him and his family's members.
He was trapped by China because he cannot go back to the west since Vietnam and Thailand keep wanting Cambodian lands. We need to change. I hope the US help Cambodians.
