A Cambodian-American group in the US has begun lobbying Washington
institutions in an effort to affect political change in Cambodia ahead
of national elections there next year.
Group leader Prom Saunora told VOA Khmer they are working to improve human rights and free speech, curb corruption and improve border and immigration issues.
Failure to pay attention to these issues could result unrest like the Arab Spring, he said. “This will lead to bloodshed.”
Prom Saunora also warned of Cambodians becoming disillusioned with
the election process, with the potential of boycotting future polls if
more is not done to reform it. Current elections are heavily skewed
toward the ruling party, he said.
“There is no point in going, because the Cambodian People’s Party will still win the election,” he said. “This will lead to the collapse of our democracy.”

“We have demanded reform at the National Election Committee to make it independent,” he said. The group advised having more participation from international experts during the election process, working with local parties and NGOs to form an independent election monitoring body.
“Once this change is possible, it can put pressure on the government to change other issues that are not in compliance with the Paris Peace Agreement,” he said.

That is true that Cambodia country will be like Arab Spring if CPP continue to cheat to win the election. There will be a real worry about the bloody battle across the country because of the greater angers among the millions of the Khmer people including Khmer people living abroad.
There will be a huge protest against Vietnam country and Vietnamese leaders (masters of CPP in Hanoi) who have secretly been providing the protection and assistance for the Vietnamese puppet Hun Sen for more than 30 years and also secretly ordered Hun Sen to create coupe and war using hidden Vietnamese military forces in Cambodia against Khmer/Cambodian opposition parties, Khmer/Cambodian democracy and freedom lovers, Khmer/Cambodian opposition activists, Khmer Environmentalist and Khmer heroes. Beyond the bloody violence and civil unrest in Cambodia, Cambodian Natural Resources, forests and lands have been destroyed by the hidden Vietnamese crooks or Vietnamese business scandals in CPP regime under the Vietnamese dog Hun Sen.
Vietnam and Vietnamese masters and followers will pay the heavy prices for what they (Vietnamese) have done to mislead the blind Vietnamese puppet Hun Sen to hurt Cambodian people. Hun Sen is not a real Cambodian/Khmer because he has Yuon/Vietnamese brain and he has no feeling for Khmer/Cambodia nation and people at all. He cares about money, power and his Vietnamese bosses and illegal Vietnamese folks inside Cambodia.
In CPP regime, there are so many scandals and corruptions, illegal business with China and private companies (Vietnamese and Chinese) that have not followed the business standards and rule of laws.
Vietnam and Vietnamese masters and followers are the major sources of problems and destruction to Cambodia and Cambodian people. Vietnamese masters and
followers and crooks have been still involving the business scandals and secret and disastrous Vietnamese advisers to Hun Sen in CPP regime, clearing the forests, cutting thousand-years-old trees, spreading the chemicals on land and beyond. Vietnam and Vietnamese masters and followers are the evil monsters who create the second Killing Fields again by using the Vietnamese dog Hun Sen to slowly kill or murder Khmer people, especially Khmer heroes and activists (who love Khmer/Cambodian nation and people).
