PHNOM PENH, 27 April, 2012 (Cambodia Herald) – The United States Seventh Fleet Commander
Vice Admiral Scott Swift will visit Cambodia from April 30 to May 3,
the American Embassy said.
During the visit, Swift will meet with Cambodian naval officers and officials at the Ministry of National Defense to discuss regional issues, a statement said.
He will also discuss Cambodia's involvement in this year’s Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) exercise, coastal security, exploration and rescue, first aid and expanding military relations.
The statement also said the USS Blue Ridge would visit Cambodia to develop the relationship between the two countries.
