ODDOR MEANCHEY 30 April, 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - Thai soldiers want to shut a border
gate in Oddor Meanchey province after Cambodian farmers plowed the land
to grow cassava near a makeshift border post, police said Monday.
Khat Sokhoeun, police chief at Border Post 702, said the Thai soldiers wanted to stop people from crossing and goods from being transported across the Chub Kokki border crossing in Ampel commune in Banteay Ampel district.
He added that the gate remained open but that the Thai soldiers had asked police officers and Cambodian people to stop farming around the border post.

If the land belong to khmers then ah,Siamee can't tell khmers what to or not to do on their land(overland) if it on Siamee land then Khmer shouldn't be farming there.

That part of land belong to Cambodia, but Thailand installed a temporary border post and evicted Khmer villagers from the area- Choup Koki. Cambodia should not agree stop farming there, we should allow the villagers to grow crop there to prevent Thai soldiers from encroaching any further.
