At a factory in Cambodia that is believed to make Nike apparel, at least 107 garment workers fainted on Wednesday. The cause is likely to be exposure to chemicals and poor ventilation, reports New York magazine.

This is not the first time a mass fainting incident has occurred in the country. New York magazine reported that in the last year, 284 workers had passed out at a factory that provides supplies for H&M, and 49 workers fell ill at a factory that produces apparel for Puma.

Poor working conditions for garment factory workers is a growing issue in the country where violent worker clashes are not uncommon. On March 27, protesters rallying outside a factory in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, were reportedly attacked by the police. The protesters were members of a garment workers' union who are employed at a factory that produces clothes for J.C. Penney Co., Women's Wear Daily reported.
