A young boy has been beaten by an ice factory owner and his employees and tied up to the gate of an ice factory for picking up scrap metals near the factory fence.
Kampuchea Thmey reported that Mao Sem and his employees had beaten up the young boy and tied him up to his factory gate at 5pm on 12th April in O'Chenh Chien village, Anlong Veng district in Oddar Meanchey province by accusing him of picking up their scrap metals.
Kampuchea Thmey reported that, after receiving the news, its reporter in Anlong Veng went to the scene and took photograph of the boy being tied up to the gate of the fence. Fearing he might be prosecuted for torturing the boy, Mao Sem ordered his employees to release the boy.
Police attended the scene and questioned Mao Sem, but it is not known what action the police will take against him and his employees. However, the police said that it is wrong to beat and tie up the young boy for just picking up the scrap metals near the factory.

ទាក់ទិនទៅនឹងថៅកែទឹកកកឈ្មោះ ម៉ៅ សេម និងកូនចៅរបស់គេវាយកូនក្មេងព្រោះតែរឿងរើសដែក ដែលនៅសេសសល់បន្តិចបន្តួចថែមទាំងចងដៃក្មេងរងគ្រោះជាប់និង ជញ្ជាំងទៀតនោះ ត្រូវបានអ្នកយកព័ត៌មានទៅថតរូបភាព ដែលចងដៃជាប់នឹងជញ្ជាំងយ៉ាងព្រៃផ្សៃបំផុតនៅពេលនោះដែរ ថៅកែ ទឹកកកឈ្មោះ ម៉ៅ សេម បានបញ្ជាឲ្យកូនចៅរបស់ខ្លួនស្រាយចំណងដៃដោះលែងក្មេងរងគ្រោះព្រោះខ្លាចមានរឿងធំ។ សមត្ថកិច្ចប៉ូលិសស្រុកអន្លង់វែងបានចុះទៅកន្លែងកើតហេតុខាងលើនោះ ក៏បានធ្វើការសួរនាំលោកថៅកែទឹកកកឈ្មោះម៉ៅ សេមនោះ ។

This is so cruel beyond believe....why !!?...what did the boy had done to deserve this punishment from the f&#@&k factory owner? Are they khmers the fxxxk owner?...If they were why the HELL they did what he did to this altile boy without pee jah ronah ? A cruel act indeed. This is jungle law implemented by a jungle factory owner.
The boy did not do anything wrong to deserve this cruel punishment. The most they could do is to tell the boy not to do it again and let him go home, but to punish him this way is so cruel.
The factory owner must be prosecuted and fined or sent to jail.

As I know, Anlong Veng, in Oddar Meanchey province was a Khmer rouge strong ass-hole. We’ve already known about Khmer rouge regime, if you take something without permission it means stealing and you’ll be tortured or killed, even today the old fxxking mentality is still existed for some people in that region or all over Srok Khmer, perhaps. Sure, they have radio, TV, enough just for music and movies but not for any news of what’s happening in Cambodia. I referred for some people only. Very sad for the boy.
