AKP Phnom Penh, April 6, 2012 –The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is planning to provide some US$752-million cooperation financing to Cambodia to support its development projects from 2012-2014, Ministry of Economy and Finance’s spokesperson said.
Under the 2012-2014 cooperation framework, ADB would provide US$622 million in concession financing and US$130 million as co-financing from other development partners, the spokesperson told reporters following the meeting here on April 4 between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance H.E. Keat Chhon and ADB President Mr. Haruhiko Kuroda.
Besides, ADB is also planning to provide US$42 million in technical assistance to Cambodia, he added.
Since 1992, ADB has provided in total US$1,588 million, of which US$1,273 million in concession loan and US$315 million in grant.
