Mom and Dad,I want your enemy becoming your in law!
First of all I want you to feel proud of whom you instilled your hope,your trust and invested your time,energy and resources to bring up into an individual who is me now who send you this message(written speech).
Your enemy is trying to eliminate you and your offspring; that were the meaningful words I heard multiple times since I was young. You want me to take revenge and see to it that your enemy is mine too.
Not much of undoubted proof are needed, you probably received the same message of the inherited enemy from grandfathers and great grandfathers.
But now is the time for me to break this destructive cycle.In anthropology class I've learned that in-breed marriage brought upon tribal family a disastrous effect of degenerated genes then resulted in the retarded or disease prone offspring. Human started to have marriage outside family and tribe.The other good thing was followed as good side effect as well: the quarrels in the family or between tribes was reduced and everybody lived a happy lives. But then nations begun to fight one another. The national in-breed made a disease of Nationalism. Big nation try to subdue and enslave the weaker nation. Why human has to fight each others. Why we have not been able to forget and forgive the others past mistakes and trespasses? Have we advanced ourselves more than the unfortunate low animals or not?
Mom and Dad, as if I am a Vietnamese guy I want to marry a Chinese girl. But if I am a Khmer guy I want to marry a Thai or Laos or even Viet girl. I want to become a universal human being that can be accepted anywhere on this planet Earth. I am sick and tired of the hatred, jealousy,false sense of heroism who perpetuate the killing one another because of the different skin,look and speech. Hell to the leaders,politicians,preachers who promoted hatred and fear. Yes I a probably am a Viet guy who want to marry Chinese girl. I want to marry Khmer guy too if I am a Viet girl.
Please do not hate me.
