AKP,Phnom Penh,February 17, 2012 –Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen received here on Feb. 16 visiting President of Taiwa Seiki Company Mr. Takai Yoseiki.
On the occasion, Mr. Takai Yoseiki told Samdech Techo Hun Sen of his company’s project to invest in producing small and medium rice-milling machines in Cambodia, Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s assistant Ieng Sophalet told reporters upon the meeting.
Mr. Takai Yoseiki said his investment plan is aimed to contribute to boosting Cambodian rice export to international markets.
In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed warm welcome and encouraged the Japanese company to set up its factory in Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone.
Premier Techo Hun Sen also said that Cambodia has totally 1,633 communes including more than 16,000 villages that need rice mills, and he expressed his hope that the investment plan will get success and Cambodian people will buy the company’s rice milling machines for uses in their respective villages.
