PHNOM PENH (CEN) – A group of Borei Keila residents gathered in front of the Royal Palace Wednesday seeking the intervention of King Sihakmoni against forced evictions last month.
Tim Sormony, a representative of the Borey Keila residents, said that a letter had been sent to Royal Palace Wednesday asking the king to intervene.
The residents have been urging Phanimex company to build another two buildings as promised since 2004. About 300 families in Borei Keila were evicted on January 3. Some were sent to Kandal province and others were sent to Toul Sambo in Phnom Penh.

I HAVE ENOUGH OF THE CPP. call your self the cambodians people party for what???? when u treat our own people like dogs.
Insufficient highway and public systems will lead to chaos in Phnom Penh. There must be some sort of compromise for those living there since 1980...it must be reasonable concession for them to start a new life.
1:59 AM. One day CPP will kill you if you are no use to them.
