PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - The US president Barack Obama will visit Camboda in November to attend ASEAN summit in Phnom Penh, secretary of state of the ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation told reporters on Monday.
" The presence of President Barack Obama in the ASEAN summits in November in Cambodia will be a sign of very good relationship between Cambodia and the United States," said Ouch Borith, the secretary of state of the ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation.
Ouch Borith revealed the planned visit by the US president after his meeting with JOSEPH YUN, deputy assistant of the US secretary of state.
He also said that Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state will visit Cambodia in July and shel will discuss the planned visit by the US president Barack Obama.
JOSEPH YUN said that " We expect to have our secretary of state here in July as well as our president for the ASEAN summits and other related meeting in November. So we are having an exciting year ahead,".
Hor Nam Hong, the foreign minister of Cambodia is scheduled to visit Washigton DC in March to build up the bilateral relationship between Cambodia and US, Ouch Borith told reporters,.
If Obama will pay a visit to Cambodia as planned, it will be the first US president's visit to Cambodia in almost hald century.

Nothing is good in Cambodia as long as these traitors still rule Cambodia. The Cambodian people will always suffer under this CPP regime or viet Cong regime. The US does not care about Cambodian people. They only go there for their interest only. Just remember that....!
