A Thai soldier was wounded in an exchange of fire between Thai and Cambodian soldiers on the border near Prasat Ta Kwai [Ta Krabey] temple in Surin province this afternoon, reports said.
The clash took place about 2pm. The wounded man had been admitted to Surin hospital.
Col Suwit Hukaew, the 2nd Army spokesman, said he was checking the information.

Thai defence spokesman rules out Thai-Cambodian clash
BANGKOK, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- The spokesman of Thailand's Defence Ministry Col. Thanathip Sawangsaeng told Xinhua on Wednesday that there was no gun exchange along the border near the Ta Kwai [Ta Krabey] ancient temple in Thailand's northeastern province of Surin, but the injury of a Thai soldier was an accident.
The spokesman told Xinhua that a Thai soldier stationed at the Dangrek Mountain outpost along the Thai-Cambodian border accidentally pulled the trigger and hurt himself.
He insisted that there was no border clash as reported earlier by local Thai media.
The injured was already accepted to the Surin Hospital.

10:44am, you must be Thai thief. Last time I check Khmer old outdated BM-21 MLRS was able to wipe out Siam forward bases facing Prasat Ta Krabey. Thai border province was outage of power, because our rockets and artillery shells hitter their power station.

2. DIPLOMATIC HELPS, make sense we don't want a all out war. Our country is doing real well in ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTS, not perfect but good start. Thai knew we are up and coming so they try to pin us down in poverty.
