PHNOM PENH, Cambodia—Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen's party is expected to sweep Senate elections in a vote that is closed to the general population and criticized for lacking credibility.
The country's 61-member upper house of Parliament is being chosen Sunday by local officials and members of the National Assembly, or lower house. Two seats are appointed by King Norodom Sihamoni and two by the National Assembly.
In the last Senate election in 2006, the ruling Cambodian People's Party won 45 seats, followed by the royalist Funcinpec party with 10. Two seats went to the opposition Sam Rainsy Party.
The Senate has no power to amend or veto legislation and is widely seen as an ineffectual body that rubber-stamps bills from the lower house, which the ruling party dominates.

If I wear my wrist-watches on both sides and you know how stupid I am, I remembered once Khmer rouge soldiers entered to Phnom penh city in 1975 they liked pens and wrist-watches and even spoons were made as pens so that they could be put in the shirt pockets.

All of you guys are very keen to criticize our Prime minister to be a good one, as years before he smoked cigarette while he was holding a press conference, but now no more such behaviour.
They should design his shirt with pen.
Dear All, hanging a pen or pens outside of your pocket like what Hun Sen did is a popular trademark for Khmer Rouge officials. The more pens you have to hang on your pocket the higher you are in the Khmer Rouge hierarchy. Hun Sen was a former Khmer Rouge leader, so he still has that Khmer rouge instinct in him, he is still a Khmer Rouge at heart, in and out.
Having a pen is a signature move creates by the Pol Pot Regime. As Hun Sen was a former Khmer Rouge Leader, having killed many Khmer. Loosing one of his eyes for for the Pol Pot regime at a young tender age, was the price he paid for todays power.
Everyone used pen. But you don't need to fill them pen up all over your Ass..shirt or pants..?
I had recalled about this guy smoking and blowing smoke at reporter's face...
Dictator Hun Sen showing the reporters the size of his willy, "this big!" he answered.
Those are not pen. Those are laser guns he hung in his pocket.
Alot of leaders came to cambodia for the meeting from all around the world...You never seen them wearing pen in their pocket though! They do carry pen inside or under their coat, jacket, they look professional!!
The KR Pen[s] Minister!
You guy never know! He probably has another pen in his penis...
