The vice-president of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and one of Cambodia's richest men, Oknha Men Sarun (pictured), has died at 12:15AM on 21 December 2011. He was 63-year-old and he died because of a heart attack.
Mr. Chuon Kol, deputy-director of the Men Sarun Co., told the Phnom Penh Post on Wednesday morning that, 2 to 3 days after returning from his blood pressure and heart check at a hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, his disease intensified and his family sent him to the “La Santé” Hospital in Phnom Penh for emergency treatment.
Chuon Kol added: “When he arrived, the doctor said that his situation is too serious and they can no longer help him, so it was decided to bring him back home. He died about 15 minutes later.”
