AKP Phnom Penh, December 23, 2011 –The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the cooperation with its National Safety Council announced to provide US$100,000 to Cambodia, which was severely affected by the recent floods.
According to a press release from the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia also provided each US$100,000 to other three flood-affected countries including Laos, Myanmar and the Philippines.
This donation reflected the humanitarian gesture of the Malaysian government as well as to further tighten the ties of solidarity among the ASEAN member countries, it said.
