AKP Phnom Penh, December 9, 2011 –Police officers from the Cambodian southeastern province of Svay Rieng and their counterparts from the Vietnamese provinces of Tay Ninh and Long An gathered on Wednesday in Svay Rieng to discuss their border security cooperation.
The Cambodian side was led by Major General Dy Vichea, Deputy Director of Central Security of the General Commissariat of National Police, and the Vietnamese side by police commissioners of the two provinces.
On the occasion, Major General Dy Vichea highly appreciated the cooperation in criminal security between the Cambodian police and the Vietnamese police, and urged both sides to further boost their cooperation in maintaining peace and security along the border.
