Samrang Pring/Landov: Rescued Leopard Kittens Come Back from the Brink
Thursday November 03, 2011
This leopard kitten is so tiny, she gets her food through an oral feeding syringe.
She's also lucky to be alive after being rescued during a flood by a fisherman in Cambodia. Three leopard kittens were discovered three weeks ago in the Southeast Asian nation, where thousands of people have been facing disease and malnutrition because of the heavy rains.
One of the leopards has since died, but the two remaining females are being nursed back to health by keepers at the Phnom Tamao wildlife rescue center in Phnom Penh.
