PHNOM PENH, Nov 12 - Cambodia plans to borrow about USD 1 billion from development partners in fiscal 2012 including at least USD 767 million from China, a senior Economy and Finance Ministry official said today.
“We expect almost USD 956 million in loans from bilateral development partners and USD 269 million from multilateral development partners," the official said.
Apart from China, other major sources of loans are expected to be the Asian Development Bank, with USD 239 million, and Japan which is committed to lending Cambodia around USD 119 million.
