The words 'democracy' and 'communism' are meaningless

Re: Sam Rainsy should negotiate with Hun Sen

Many times, you folks stuck with the word "Democracy", demo like crazy. "Commun ist", communist. Don't read it literally. I am just making a point; I just break the wording to catch attention and it is not my intention to correct an English literature.

These words are meaningless to me. The most important is to have food to eat, places to sleep and that is what humans are seeking for their survival. When a person has too much pride, it weaken their ability to see thing beyond pride. People beg on the streets, pick up cans to make a living, they too have pride but they swallow their pride because the stomach is hungry. We steal in KR regime because we don't have food to eat. We didn't think of pride or immorality.

The Khmer proverb says: you win to loose, but you loose to win. Each government under whatever you want to call the system is, is like your parents' rule on what to do or not to do to govern individual to walk the right path and avoid from getting into trouble. However, people get stuck with the wording of each country's governing system. For example, China and Vietnam, they are communist countries but they practise free enterprise and do business like any other free market systems.

As a matter of fact, the US owed trillions to China. If China were to relinquish all its treasury bonds; the U.S economy will collapse completely. China doesn't want to see the US market collapses. Who they can do business with if the US collapse? The US is the most stable market. Although both nations fight each other to compete, but both countries needed each others. Just because a country is communist; it doesn't mean they are bad but people get hung up on the word 'democracy' will think it is bad because it is a communist country. You can't vote or do whatever you wanted. If you go to communist country like Vietnam or China, you can do whatever you want as long as it is legal according to their laws that govern their people.

Where do Sam Rainsy stand in the eyes of those two giant country China and the US? No where close. If Sam Rainsy continues to hold on his pride and the word 'democracy', then he doesn't understand the true meaning of living and winning. I urge those democracy lovers to look beyond the definition of the word democracy, rather than look at reality and how do you survive. Khmer knows how to survive when turf time came. We ate all kind of bugs, trees, leafs, etc.

Sam Rainsy should examine closely at these horrors Khmer people have experienced. They've gone through and how they survived the ordeals and how they swallowed their pride to survive the next day. I guess Sam Rainsy doesn't know what it is about because he had never been there, perhaps his followers should share some facts with him so that he can learn like the little Khmer people who had survived the KR times.

After I read the Wikileak; this is more realistic choice for Cambodia interm of two leaders to sit down and negotiate with each other peacefully. if you truely love your country then don't fight each other. You can have different oppinion and seek change through non violence.
