HA NOI — A delegation of the Cambodian Royal Army, headed by General Meoung Samphan, State Secretary for the Defence Ministry, is on a working visit to Viet Nam until Saturday.
Deputy Defence Minister, Lieutenant General Le Huu Duc, received the delegation, expressing his wishes that the visit would contribute to boosting the traditional friendship, solidarity and mutual understanding between the armies and people of the two countries.
General Meoung Samphan stated he was pleased to witness the achievements of Viet Nam's national development.
The two sides informed each other of their respective socio-economies, politics, national defence and security situations and agreed to further advance delegation exchanges and cooperation in training, logistics and finance.
