PHNOM PENH, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia and Myanmar on Wednesday vowed to boost bilateral cooperation by promoting culture and tourism for the interests of both sides' peoples.
Speaking in a meeting with visiting President of Myanmar's Parliament Khin Aung Myint at Phnom Penh's Peace Palace, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said it was important to boost cooperation between Cambodia and Myanmar bilaterally and in the framework of the ASEAN members in all sectors, especially on cultures and tourism.
He added that as the two countries had huge potentials in tourism, there should be closer tourism cooperation between Cambodia's cultural Siem Reap province and Myanmar's Yangon city.
