The titles of those generals are expired. They are fat and happy from being well fed through sucking up Cambodia's blood. So the time is up, Hun Sen is ordering them to retire. Does anyone know how much a title of one-star general cost? $10,000 -20,000 perhaps. With this title, you earn that special right to commit corruption to fullfill your own personal financial ambitions. That explain those huge numbers of stars in Cambodia. With so many stars, the sky in Cambodia is very bright with corruptions.

In the 1990s, I know a few business people who bought their military titles, they were 1-, 2- and 3-star generals, but they don't have a single soldier under them. This is not important. The important thing is they want this title to commit corruption, threaten and intimidate people to get advantage over a lot of things, such as business deals or to get immunity from arrests or prosecutions when they did something wrong etc. I don't know if they still held this title.

Some general didn't even earn the star?...They bought the stars and put it on their shirt...Most people work so hard in their life to earn just one star, but in cambodia very easy to get the star..My
