AKP Phnom Penh, July 18, 2011 –Singapore wishes to understand the Cambodia’s stance in Cambodia-Thailand disputed border resolution and the Cambodia’s agricultural and commercial sectors.
The remark has been made known here recently by Mr. Peter Mok, director of Foreign Affairs Department of the Singaporean Ministry of National Defense during the meeting with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers H.E. Sok An.
In reply, H.E. Sok An told Mr. Peter Mok of the Cambodia’s stance to respect the 1962 International Court of justice’s judgment (ICJ) and to resolve conflict in peaceful.
He also further briefed his guest on the country’s economic development, especially the export including rubber and rice, he said, adding that Cambodia has rice surplus more than 2 million ton for export.
The garment and tourism sectors have increased to 28 % inn the trimester of 2011 in Cambodia, he added.
