Whoever claimed that you can't say anything in Cambodia need to examine their claim closely. If people cannot say things freely, what about the protests where ordinary farmers chased the authority with knife, bat, slingshot etc? The problem with the opposition party in Cambodia is, if anybody farts; they blamed the ruling Cambodia People's Party (CPP).
There are so much injustices in the world. Let me give you some more examples, in USA we have homeless people sleeping in front of the door step of the Capitol building, etc. I don't see Americans blame President Obama that he is heartless like in Cambodia. Everything that has gone wrong in Cambodia, they blamed CPP, but when everything is good, they say nothing.
Don't get me wrong, I am neither a CPP supporter nor a Sam Rainsy Party supporter but you have to be fair to the government. Cambodia is far from perfect in term of democracy and Cambodia is working to improve it every day. There are so much developments going on in the country, many students received scholarship to study a broad, investors creating jobs for Cambodians, stock exchange is ready to be opened etc.
The oppositions only focus on pointing finger on the wrong things while they themselves did nothing to help except being opportunists to capture the attention and taking political headline by exploiting the struggle of the poor. Many time, when they get involved in helping the poor, it makes the situation worse. While the CPP built more schools, provide humanitarian assistance to the poor and that's their popularity grows; you don't need rocket scientist to figure that out.
While Cambodia is having war with Thailand, the opposition leader went on his rampage on Thai public TV talking bad about the Cambodian government. Don't you think that is democracy enough that you can do that without being prosecuted? In communist state, you'll be executed as traitor. Let's see if you can do that during the KR era. You can't even wear glasses or look intellectual, let me remind you in case you forgot. Oh yeah, Sam Rainsy never seen a day in Khmer Rouge regime because he was busy studying in France. His parents are rich so they could afford school and nice house for him. There is nothing wrong with that. I am not jealous. PM Hun Sen was busy giving his life to defend Cambodia because that is what he believes was the right thing to do during that time.

Sam Rainsy did not stay back in the 1970s to kill Cambodians like Hun Sen, but Rainsy returned in the 1980s and 1990s to liberate Cambodia and Cambodians from Vietnam and communism. This is the difference. Because of the resistance groups like Funcinpec and Son Sann's group that Rainsy was a part of that kicked foreign invaders out and brought democracy and peace until today, that's why Cambodia is free now. Without the resistance that supported by Rainsy, Cambodia would still be under Vietnam and even today Hun Sen still crawl to Vietnam. There is nothing wrong for Rainsy to give an interview to foreign TVs, any TVs, not just Thai TVs. Hun Sen was seen on Vietnam TV and other foreign TVs, so you think that he is a traitor? Let me say this, a traitor is one who sell out his nation and territory to foreign country and Hun Sen and his CPP clique fits the description of a traitor perfectly well because he sells out Cambodian territory to Vietnam.
In this article I don't see this fair Guy mention about Hun sen sale Khmer land To Youn , and Youn all over Khmer Land .
Youn are Raping Khmer Right now , and Hun sen doing nothing to stop Youn from doing so .
Let me telling you this you Idoit , you should learn from Youn Dummy , Chines Try to Take The Island that belong to Khmer , Youn communist let their peoples go on strike againt chines .
