The Cambodian military had ended a successful 3-day live fire military drill on Thursday 16th June at Phnom Sruoch in Kampong Speu province which was presided over by Defence Minister Tea Banh.
The drill involved the participation of 1312 troops, involving firing nearly a thousand rounds of 30 DK-82mm rocket launchers, 30 DK-100 rocket launchers, 40 DKZ-40 rocket launchers, DK-42 rocket launchers.
Gen. Tea Banh said the live military drill is not to flex Cambodia's military muscle against any nation, but to test Cambodia's long-abandoned weapons. The drill began on 13th June.

Why do they have dessert camouflage?
Cambodia do have UN soldiers which sent to a region near the middle east, the desert uniforms probably left over so they made use of it.
The great concern of Cambodia in the event of war with Thailand it not in Preah Vihear temple area , But in Koh Kong area a lot people may not familiar with those area.
Koh Kong province have the border with Trat of Thailand, with land and sea , it critical if the Thai able bomb the bridge( consist of 2Km long) connect to border and Cambodia have to transport it supply by boat, geography of Koh Kong itself put Cambodia in both side of the advantage and disadvantage, on the one hand is Thai only have one road to the border a long the steep hillside and Thailand is on the lower side and the road is quite narrow, on the other hand Cambodia have a small island in the estuary of the Dong Tong river,it have been the strategic point of Cambodia since the France era, This a little island consist of steep hill top and French have built concrete bunker installation with big cannons and able to defend Koh Kong from the invasion by land and sea.
During Lon Nol era Khmer rouge failed to capture this a little island after the several attempted until the day of Lon Nol failed .
In the time Vietnam occupy Cambodia this island play the important role of protecting Cambodia army(regiment1) and the Vietnam army(division4)along the border, with it unobstructed view and rise high above the sea it artillery on the island can hit any ship that come close to Cambodia shore , and hit any Thai target along the border.
