Two Thai sniffer dogs killed by landmines in Ta Krabey temple area

Two Thai spy dogs that have ventured into Cambodian territory have stepped on landmines and were killed on the spot near Ta Krabey temple.

Maj-Gen. Seak Socheat, commander of the Cambodian forces based in Ta Krabey and Ta Moan Thom temples, said the two Thai sniffer dogs were sent into Cambodian territory to spy on Cambodian military positions, but stepped on landmines and were killed on the spot at 10pm on Friday night, 13th May.

Gen. Seak Socheat said these dogs cost about $US10,000 each and their carcases were taken to a nearby temple and kept there for autopsy and funeral.

The report said that, as a result of this incident, the Thai army had reinforced troops to the border areas, especially the areas around ta Krabey and Ta Moan Thom temples.

During the height of border fighting between Cambodian and Thai troops in April, Cambodian troops claimed that they have captured four Thai spies and a Thai spy dog micro-chipped with a tiny spy camera. And immediately after the clashes in February, one Thai spy dog was trapped by a Cambodian army trap after it and its owner entered Cambodian territory to spy on Cambodian military positions.

_Two dogs were killed by landmines and it costs Thai about $US20,000.
_Two F16 were collided when they violated Khmer airspace early this year. The embarrassed Thai air force claimed that it was an accident while on military training exercise. It had cost Thai about $US35 millions(?).
_Two men (Abi-shit and Prayut Chanh' Os Stars) will fail the policy of invading Khmer territory. It will cost Thai nation an arm and a leg. Beside that the face of Thai nation will be losing too after the ICJ interpretation will shortly deliver.

FYI: F-16 cost about $35 millions a piece, so 2 F-16s gone down in flame would cost about $70 millions. Damn..not bad for a day worth of nothing by Thai military.

Anyway, isn't that something, attaching a mini-camera on to dogs and let them run loose to do the spying on Cambodian troop positions. I'm surprise, Thai military didn't strap cluster bombs and bag filled with poison gas onto those dogs. If the Cambodian troop positions was found, detenated the cluster bombs and bite off the poison gas filled bag to release the mayham. We can all bet the PETA(People of Ethical Treatment of Animals)is going to be screaming their heads off. Clever, yet cheezy of Thailand. Let say, the position of Cambodian troops were found by one of those mini-camera-mounted spydog. How the hell would the Thai military know where the dog or the Cambodian troop position be located. It't not like that dog would pick up a radio or a cellphone and call in to give cordinates of the position. I bet those spy dogs has GPS tracking devices. Hell, Cambodian military need to get smart an start buying some hotdogs for those spydogs. Just set up traps using hotdog as bait. Soon or later, those spydogs will smell the hotdog bait and whaaaaam, caught the animal. Cambodian troops can give the middle finger through the mini-camera for Thai military.
