BEIJING, April 22 (Xinhua) -- China on Friday called on Cambodia and Thailand to stay calm and resolve their differences through dialogue."Cambodia and Thailand are members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and good neighbors of China. China expects both countries to stay calm, exercise restraint and resolve differences through consultations," Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei (pictured) said in a statement Friday.
Armed clashes between Cambodian and Thai troops erupted on Friday, just over two months since a deadly clash occurred from Feb. 4 to 7 in the disputed area next to Preah Vihear temple, a World Heritage Site.

China is permanent member of UNSC china have a lot of influent but china do not want to upset Thailand because china got Tibet on it hand the day Cambodia&Thai foreign ministers stand in front of the UNSC if china urge UNSC to be mediator problem solve by now .
What dialogue Thailand doesn't like the dialogues Thailand like the BM21 or BM30 unless China give Cambodia 200 units of BM 30 (PHL-03)rockets launchers 200 J10 fighter jets 2000 new tanks 10 subs problems solve .

I wonder, why people keep asking cambodia to resolve issues with dialogue..while Thailand never stop intimidating, bullying, invading cambodia?? Talk to Thailand instead! Cambodia just following...
