Hundreds of Cambodian families living in O'Smach district in Oddar Meanchey province are fleeing their homes for fears that fighting between Cambodian and Thai troops could spread into the area.
Authority in O'Smach told DAP News that as on the night on Sunday 24th April, 80% of residents in O'Smach district have fled their homes.
In 3 days of fighting in Ta Krabey and Ta Moan temple areas have resulted in the displacement of more than 17,000 Cambodian villagers so far and if fighting spread to O'Smach, many more villagers will be displaced.
