The same sources said that Cambodian troops reacted strongly to the laying of the barbed wires, warning Thai troops to remove the barbed wires immediately. At 1 p.m, Cambodian troops gave the Thai side the ultimatum to stop laying the wires, or there will be an armed clash.
However, Gen. thai bully tactic too smaller neighbor , in my view point cambodian government should invest in bigger multi-rocket launcher (bm30 or phl-03 fourth generation) all this rockets have range from 90 km to 200km
100 units of bm 30 cost somewhere around $billion but is a insurance policy for any enemy cannot bypass .
modern anti-aircraft system . to any clash cambodia need to deploy 10 set of phl-03 it could destroy 600 ha area.
The area will never see the light of peace if thai troops keep on encroaching and provoking the Cambodian troops. Armed clashes will occur some time in the future if such encroachments and provocations continue. Cambodia must speed up the lawsuit to the international court of justice and please don't back down. Go ahead until we get a re-interpretastion of the 1962 verdict.
Will Thai quit after ICJ's re-interpretation?
it will never be peace if u look at thailand it always spending on new hardwares what it for? simple intimidate (bully is the proper words) it neighbors .
cambodia should teach thai a lesson "thai can't win on the battlefield and on the international arena " this madness must come to the end.
This stragety war will be a long one!...I hope Cambodian army got more modern weapons in place!
