Cambodia is hosting regional summits on economic cooperation involving Southeast Asian countries in Phnom Penh.
Foreign ministers of Cambodia, Laos, Burma, Vietnam, Thailand and ASEAN Secretary General Surin Pitsuwan attended the foreign ministers’ meeting.
The meeting is aimed at sustainable economic development and active cooperation among the countries.
The leaders of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam also met in the capital. There they signed a memorandum of understanding to create policies for the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam development triangle area.
