Nearly 120,000 Cambodians have visited Vietnam in the first half of 2010, the majority being medical tourists, reports everyday.com.
According to Vietnam News Agency, in the first 6 months of 2010, more than 117,000 Cambodians had visited Vietnam, representing an increase of 36% in the same time last year. The agency said Ho Chi Minh City had attracted the majority of these Cambodian tourists, following by Vietnam's central tablelands, the Mekong delta areas and the southern provinces of Vietnam.
The report said that Ho Chi Minh City had attracted around 60%-70% of the total numbers of the 117,000 visitors.
Mr. An Kim Ieng, president of Cambodian Travel Agents, said on 23rd August that the majority of Cambodian visitors to Vietnam are medical tourists, people who went there to seek medical treatments in Vietnamese hospitals.

They are mainly Vietnamese,who had come and live in Cambodia since 1979. Now they are visiting their country and possibly bring some more friends and neighbours to live in Cambodia.

Did you know that most big villas and houses in big city such as Phnom Penh,were occupied by Hanoi troops,when they left they transferred those properties and factories to Vietnamese civilians or traitors clans.
Most Khmer are farmers, they don't have enough money to feed themselves.

You might be right, or probably they are mostly Khmer Krom. However, it is true that many Khmers went to Vietnam to seek medical treatments because Cambodian hospital system is so unreliable and dangerous that can't be trusted.
