Cambodia plans to export medicines to Vietnam

The Cambodian Association of Drug Manufacturers said it plans to export drug to Vietnam, after it successfully exported its many brands of drugs to 14 African countries, reports Kampuchea Thmey.

Mr. Chheng Eang Tek, president of Cambodian Association of Drug Manufacturers, said currently Cambodia has 6 drug manufacturing companies, but at present only PPM Ltd has exported its drugs to overseas. He said that PPM Ltd has exported its drugs to African countries since 2000 and up until now has exported 30 brands of its medicines to 14 African countries. He added that Cambodia will soon begin to export a wide range of drugs to Vietnam.

Mr. Chou Yin Sim, Secretary of State of Ministry of Health, said the ministry has recently presented Certificate of Praise to PPM Ltd for its success in exports Cambodian medicines to overseas.
