On 3rd June, 17 MPs from the opposition Sam Rainsy Party travelled to visit border post No. 270 on the Khmer-Vietnamese border claimed by villagers as having been planted inside their lands and Khmer territory. The MPs' visit was banned by the authority, however they went ahead without permission and met obstacles along the way as police and authority as well as vigilante groups trying to block their way.
