Chairman of Thailand Natural Disaster Management and a famous fortune-teller named Moustra Das Mous predicted that Thailand will be badly hit by a giant Tsunami in the middle of 2010, reports Deum Ampil.
After reports from various Tsunami experts around the world, Prof. John Mackloski (spelling?), Tsunami expert from the University of Ulster in Ireland, have written letters to remind many governments in the region that there is a possibility that a strong earthquake will hit the Indonesian island of Sumatra which will trigger a giant Tsunami.
Prof. Macloski's warning, coupled with the prediction of fortune-teller Moustra, has caused panic among some sections of the Thai community that an earthquake with the magnitude of the 26th December 2004 tsunami that struck Phuket Island might be a reality.
The Thai Rak Online newspaper interviewed Prof. Smitham Sakroj, Chairman of Thailand Natural Disaster Management, who predicted that the magnitude of the 2004 tsunami was 9 Richter scale, but the upcoming tsunami will bigger and will cause much more disastrous damages than before.
He said the upcoming tsunami is currently located about 1200 kilometres away from 6 provinces of Thailand, but because of the tectonic plate movements of 3/4, it will be moved to only about 300-400 k ilometres from the coast of Thailand.
At the same time, Kampuchea Thmey reported that another famous Thai fortune-teller predicted that Thailand's Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiova and his cabinet will face calamity in the near future.
Kit Jathaweekulkej, a Feng Shui expert, predicted that Abhisit and his government will face a big disaster if he does not perform a ritual ceremony to chase away evil because the Brahman god that lives on the rooftop of the Thai Khoofa Building will no longer protect him and his cabinet.

If the predictions are correct, then Thailand might be in deep troubles as it has to confront two crisis at the same time- the internal divisions between the red shirts and the yellow shirts and a natural disaster like this upcoming tsunami. Bad news for the Thai government.
