200 people from 24 communities across the country have yesterday, Tuesday 15th June, protested in front of Prime Minister Hun Sen's house to send a petition to Mr. Hun Sen to ask him to stop providing land concessions to companies which often encroached on farmers' lands. They also ask the PM to punish those who encroached, violated and grabbed lands belonging to villagers. About 100 riot police have been posted to prevent them from marching and the protesters have decided to disperse without any violence.
