Woman attacked by sexual predator
Pattaya police were called to The Avenue Pattaya on the morning of the 19th to investigate a possible rape attack on a Cambodian woman. At the complex, they came across 22 year old Miss Reena, who claimed she was originally on Walking Street when she was approached by a Thai man who offered her 3,000 baht to have sex with a foreign tourist waiting at the mall. Enticed by the money, she agreed, but when they arrived at the designated deserted area, she claimed he pulled out a knife and sexually attacked her; after which he stole her belongings and left the scene. As a matter of course, she was taken to a nearby hospital to receive a medical checkup to verify her claim before any investigation can be carried out.
