Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center, 1501 Glasstown Road, Millville, will host a workshop, Cambodian Beadwork On Fabric, from 2 to 4 p.m. April 25.
Chamroeun Yin will be the instructor for this workshop for people age 10 and older.
Cambodian traditional beadwork is a form of bead embroidery on fabric used by the artist when making Cambodian traditional wedding and dance costumes.
Participants will create flower and diamond designs with gold glass beads and sequins on a small multipurpose purse.
Students will learn about the history and cultural significance of Cambodian costume. This class is the first in a series of workshops offered in conjunction with the Cambodian Traditions: Wedding and Court Dances exhibition.
Fee is $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers.
