A delegation of nine European parliamentarians in charge of South East Asian relations will pay a visit to Cambodia from 18-20 March to assess the political and economic situations in Cambodia, reports everyday.com.
The topics on the agenda for discussions with Cambodian leaders will be focused on political, economic, financial and human rights situations in Cambodia.
The delegation is scheduled to meet Deputy Prime Minister Sok An, Foreign Minister Hor Namhong, Senate President Chea Sim and National Assembly chairman Heng Samrin. The delegation will also hold talks with parliamentarians from the ruling Cambodian People's Party, the opposition Sam Rainsy Party, Human Rights Party and the Nationalist Party (former Norodom ranariddh Party) as well as representatives of international organisations based in Cambodia.
