There are unofficial reports that Chea Sophal, Gen. Chea Morn's son, will be convicted for illegal logging and robbery and sentenced to 6 years and 6 months jail by the Siem Reap Magistrate Court.

Chea Sophal is a very powerful figure who is behind widespread illegal logging in areas under the control of the Military Region Four in the Siem Reap-Preah Vihear regions, which is commanded by his father. You (c1) must be joking. Hun does it in a different way now. Million os $ dollars from revenue such as gas,banking,land-grabbing....is channeled into his Bank account.Logging is old fashion for Hun Sen.
You get it.

Most illegal logging in Cambodia are committed by powerful people like army generals and ministers etc. Hun sen advisors like Om Yintieng, Gen. Hing Bunheang and Hun Sen's cousin, Dy Choch, have been named by Global Witness as offenders. Hun Sen must be one of the illegal loggers as well, that's why he never cracked down on illegal logging.
