Cambodia-Vietnam planted 8 border markers

Border markers no. 152 in Svay Rieng province which Cambodian border critics and opposition politicians accused of being planted inside Cambodian territories.

Cambodia and Vietnam have on 26th March recommenced the planting of 8 border markers along the borders of Kampong Cham-Tay Ninh (Rong Damrei) provinces, everyday.com quoted Vietnam Newsagency as reported.

Vietnam's Tay Ninh province has 240 kilometres long borders with Cambodia's Kampong Cham and Svay Rieng provinces. Under the 1985 Demarcation Treaty between Cambodia and Vietnam, 52 border markers will be planted along the borders between Cambodia's Kampong Cham and Vietnam's Tay Ninh provinces. To date, 48 border markers had been planted and both sides are dtermined to complete the planting of all border markers by 2012.
