Bollywood hottest star, Shriya Sharan, has been invited to teach at the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabed (IIM-A), reports Koh Santepheap.
Shriya, a Tamil from southern India who is already a film student of the institute, will be teaching film and entertainment to more than 100 students who had enrolled in the course.
Last year, there were only 57 students enrolled in the course. But this year the number of enrollments have so far swelled to 148 and the enrollments are expected to dramatically increase after Shriya took up the teaching position. The course to be taught by Shriya will cover film and entertainment, including cinematic films, documentaries, cartoons and animations as well as general studies about film industry around the world.

Shriya is a very popular actress in the South Indian film industry. She shot to fame when she became the leading lady in superstar Rajnikanth’s Tamil film 'The Sivaji Girl'. She has acted in 4 Bollywood films so far. Tujhe Meri Kasam with Ritesh Deshmukh which clicked at the box office. Her next two movies ‘Thoda Tum Badlo Thoda Hum’ and ‘Shukriya: Till Death Do Us Apart’ failed to make an impact.
Shriya’s 4th bollywood film is Mohit Suri’s Awaarapan (Emraan Hashmi) which releases on 29th June 2007.
