Prime Minister Hun Sen will make his first-ever trip to Preah Vihear temple to visit Cambodian troops stationed in the area this weekend, reports everyday.com.
Mr. Hun Sen said he will make a speech and well as hearing speeches from the soldiers in Preah Vihear on Saturday before leaving for a visit to the Triangle Area at the borders with Laos and Thailand.
Mr. Hun Sen's visit to Preah Vihear happened two weeks after fresh armed clashes between Thai and Cambodian troops in the nearby Choam Te village 24th January and in Veal Veng district in Pursat province on the 25th January which killed one Thai soldier and wounded several others.

Hun Sen's visit is a good sign, but his visit is long overdue. He should have done it more than one year ago.
I agree that Hun Sen must visit the border with Vietnam as well because more encroachments happened there.
