Ukraine promises to provide scholarships to Cambodian students

The newly-appointed Ukrainian ambassador to Cambodia has told a senior Cambodian Foreign Ministry official that, after the Ukrainian general election in 2010, the new Ukrainian government will provide scholarships to Cambodian students to further their studies in the Ukraine, reports everyday.com.

Mr. Ivan Dovganic, the new Ukrainian ambassador, told Mr. Ouch Borith, Secretary of State of Foreign Ministry on 7th January that, on top of the offering of scholarships, he will help to strengthen the relations between the two countries and promised to work with the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism to entice more Ukrainian tourists to visit Cambodia.

He said he hopes to discuss with other Cambodian ministries such Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Agriculture to explore possible cooperations and joint ventures because Ukraine has strong potentials in the fields of industries.

greatest thanks to ukraine government for your charity toward khmer children, if we have a better education, our next generation would stand up to fight against this corrupted government and establish back on track the laws in orders like some democracy country like usa, canada, new zeland and ukraine.
