Hun Sen warned Sam Rainsy

Prime Minister Hun Sen (pictured) warned that the court summon and an arrest warrant against opposition leader Sam Rainsy is just a soft measure comparing to a court in other countries which ordered the dissolution of the political parties, reports Radio Free Asia.

The Svay Rieng Provincial Court has issued an arrest warrant against opposition leader Sam Rainsy for leading villagers to uproot six wooden border poles a long the Khmer-Vietnamese borders on 25th October, 2009.

In a public speech during a groundbreaking ceremony of a road construction site in Kandal province on Monday, Mr. Hun Sen hinted that Mr. Sam Rainsy and his party might face tougher punishment. "(Rainsy) has hit us, but when we used the court to resolve the matter, (he) accused us of using the court to oppress (him). A court in some countries not just convict the individuals, but order the dissolution of political parties. They used it to dissolve political parties and ban politicians from participating in the election process. The court in Cambodia has just gone that far ( of issuing an arrest warrant), so it is not too severe", Mr. Hun Sen said.

Mr. Hun Sen seemed to have directed his comments toward Thailand which have in the past banned certain politicians, such as former prime ministers Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, Mr. Samak Sudaravej and Mr. Somchai Wongsawath, from politics and their parties ordered dissolved by the court.

Mr. Yim Sovan, spokesman for the Sam Rainsy Party, said courts in other countries can order the dissolution of political parties because they are independent courts that have also convicted and ordered the jailing of many corrupt politicians which Cambodian courts have never done. "Our courts were seen by national and international opinions as political tools of the ruling party to crackdown on the opposition parties. We are in the opposition party led by His Excellency President Sam Rainsy have only done things that serve national interests, especially defending the territorial integrity, defending justice for the common people and defending the people's lands that have been lost through the planting of the demarcation markers. These are patriotic acts and justice actions to help the people who are being victimised", he said.

Mr. Hun Sen has also warned all diplomats in Phnom Penh not to meddle in the internal affairs of Cambodia. "Please all Excellencies the ambassadors and all embassies in Phnom Penh. Please think carefully and be careful about this matter because it is not a normal matter. Where are the lines of the value of justice and the rule of laws lie, where one or two persons or a small group of people can make such thing happen?", Hun Sen said accusing Mr. Rainsy of instigating the uprooting of the border markers.

Mr. Sam Rainsy has remained in exile in France, refusing to attend the court hearing by accusing it of being a kangaroo court. Currently, two villagers, the owners of the lands encroached by the new border markers, had been put in jail and three more have gone into hiding.

Hun Sen and his clans is the court of justice in Cambodia. He can convict anyone as he please. Remember this, Hun Sen is A CAMBODIAN DICTATOR! who kills his own people for the sake of the foreigners.

Can't wait to see this evil scumbag, HUN SEN, falling out of the power he does not deserve.

In Cambodia, Hun Sen is the law, the police, the court and the jailer at the same time.

The laws come from Hun Sen's mouth- whatever he said is the law. This is called a lawless state where criminals rule the country and patriots are persecuted by these criminal rulers.
